Chulalongkorn Student Wellness (CUSW) needed a centralized digital workspace to manage tasks, coordinate between medical staff, and track student case records. I led UX research and interface design for this long-term internal platform.
The team relied on fragmented tools—spreadsheets, Line messages, and paper records—to manage daily tasks and patient coordination. This caused miscommunication, missed follow-ups, and inefficient workflows across departments.
Conducted in-depth interviews with 8 staff members including doctors, nurses, and admin. Mapped current workflows using FigJam service blueprints. Identified pain points: no centralized case tracking, no task ownership visibility, and difficulty onboarding new staff.
Created information architecture from scratch, built low-fidelity wireframes for core flows (task assignment, case tracking, report generation), ran two rounds of usability testing with real staff, and iterated based on feedback.
Designed a clean, role-based workspace with a unified dashboard, task assignment system, case log viewer, and internal messaging. Simplified onboarding flow reduced time-to-productivity for new staff.
Prototype approved by department heads. The platform reduced dependency on informal communication channels and provided a clear audit trail for each student case. Staff reported significantly improved workflow clarity.
